Events with Travel Massive San Diego
The local chapter of this international travel industry professionals group meets monthly at venues in central San Diego. Our focus is fostering relationships across the different travel professions. Elaine is the co-host with Katherine Bellarmino. Travel Massive SD and follow on our Facebook Page.
San Diego Travel Festival
In the fall of 2014, Elaine organized the three day SD Trav Fest in alliance with Travel Fests International. The central event was a day of workshops and presentations with over 25 speakers at the San Diego School of Architecture and Design. A VIP reception was held at the Horton Grand Hotel, a movie night at Another Side of San Diego Tours and a street party at Catalina Offshore Products benefiting the San Diego Oceans Foundation.
Travel Well Meetup Events
Elaine founded the San Diego Travel Well Meetup which met over 70 times at local restaurants and meeting spaces. We hosted travel writers, destination experts, sampled local wines and brews, and exotic fares from many countries represented across the county. With over 395 members from a diverse demographic the Meetup continues in 2015 with a new organizer.
