Take the slow road trip: Blue Ridge Parkway

There’s nothing like a leisurely road trip to put problems and work woes aside. I learned that growing up when my father suddenly lightened up behind the wheel on our summer trips across America. Since then I’ve longed to go more often and soak up trip tales from family and friends who take to the road.

I’ve yet to make it to the Blue Ridge Parkway but this looks like a road trip made for savoring. Take the slow road: Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.
